 Project First Stage Plan: A famous
Australian design company, Hassell, has completed the general layouts for
the first stage of the golden gulf golf course. This includes a 27-hole
golf course (a 18-hole international standard golf course and a 9-hole lit
course), a 10000 square-meter multi-functional clubhouse and 320
course-view villas. The area covered is 2.5 square kilometers. The first
stage construction of the 27-hole course and clubhouse had been started as
scheduled. The 18-hole tournament course and clubhouse will be established
by October 2002 and opened to the public. The golf course was designed by
the world-known golf player, Mr. Colin Montgomerie, who has been the
champion in Europe for seven years. Now he is ranked the 3rd in the world.
